A ROYAL DRIVE FOR AWARENESS Gender-based violence has been a problem in South Africa. In recent years we have been plastered by headline after headline of women, whether married, young, old, or even pregnant being killed in the most gruesome of ways. We have seen videos of women being beaten up by their parents, on mere assumptions of them cheating or even coming home late. We have seen children being violated in schools by their teachers and on the way to and from school by men and young boys in their neighborhoods.
